BHC's August 2019 Education meeting featured Kelley Rosequist, co-owner of Dog Training Elite Utah. Kelly discussed the use of service dogs as a mobility support for those with chronic illness. A mobility support dog can increase an individual’s independence and quality of life by assisting with tasks that are difficult or impossible to complete on their own. A brace and mobility support dog can be taken anywhere and are trained to their handlers specific mobility and ambulatory needs. She specializes in the training of service animals for: PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), mobility support, autism support, diabetic alert, and therapy support.
