After a long and eventful journey from Norway to Finland—filled with flight delays, diversions, and a missed train—we finally made it to Kemi for an experience of a lifetime: the Icebreaker Cruise! Watching the massive ship crush through the frozen Bothnian Sea was both mesmerizing and a little nerve-wracking. But the real thrill came when we stepped into the icy waters ourselves! With some encouragement from boys, of course, we took the plunge, floating in the freezing sea surrounded by thick ice. Our boys, completely in their element, were so excited that the crew let them stay in the water until the very end! This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the joy on our boys’ faces made every bit of travel chaos worth it. Now, off to Rovaniemi to meet Santa Claus himself!
