11 AM Sermon Only Scripture: Luke 5:1-11 Title: Lessons on How to Fill Your Nets in 2014 Christians often fish in the sea of life. Sometimes our nets are full and other times they are empty. God does not want us to walk around with empty nets. When we fish with empty nets, God wants us to: 1) Launch our nets into deep water: The reason why your nets are empty is because you continue to fish in shallow water. Shallow water creates shallow living which in turn creates shallow Christians, 2) Stop making excuses: Sometimes we miss our blessings because we are unsure of how God is going to fix it. We need to lean on His understanding instead of our own, and finally 3) Obey His instructions: God uses imperfect people to be fishers of men. God blesses us in order to use us to bless other people.
