Lines of classic lorries, vans and pickup trucks joined the cars, stationary engines and other attractions at the 2021 Astle Park Traction Engine Rally. In this video we take a walk around and look at the wonderful old lorries that turned up. All the popular British lorry manufacturers of yesteryear were in attendance - these included AEC, Albion, ERF, Foden, Bedford, Leyland, Scammell and other vehicles, plus a number of classic American trucks from Peterbilt, Kenworth, Dodge and Ford. Civilian type lorries and military examples were both dotted around the show field. All in all, a fantastic gathering of (mainly) classic British lorries, not even the grumpy weather could put a dampener on things. Vans, pickups and buses also feature in this video, including such gems as Austin A40 pickup, Morris J Type vans, Willam micro van, and a huge turnout of classic Land Rovers including two formerly owned by the late Bolton-based Steeplejack Fred Dibnah no less. The large turnout of classic cars also at Astle Park will feature in a separate video on this channel.
