How To Make A HEALING LEMON BALM Salve | Easy Recipe

Today I'm sharing with you how to make an easy lemon balm salve that is great for dry skin, herpes, shingles, and viral sores. Lemon balm is another one of my favorite herbs and this salve is my favorite lip balm and skin soother in the dry desert heat. To make this salve you'll need: 2 cups of organic olive oil 1 cup of dried lemon balm 1 ounce of local beeswax 10-15 drops of lemon essential oil (optional) Cheesecloth Mason jar Salve tins or small mason jars Pour the lemon balm into a mason jar and cover it with olive oil. Put in a water bath over low heat and let sit for 3-4 hours. Strain the infused oil in a cheesecloth. Put the oil back in the mason jar and add the beeswax. Melt in the water bath. Once the beeswax is melted, let cool slightly and add the essential oils before pouring into the salve tins. Label tins or jars.
