Update: I received the new Elite magnet mount water bottles and they hold much better with no more rattling. But, they still have issues. One, the valve didn't really leak, but they blew out and disappeared somewhere. I am now using the old cap on the new bottles. I recommend cutting the valve slices open more from the inside of the cap. They will then probably leak, but that is better than not having a valve at all. Two, I found that I needed to add a strip of electrical tape over the new magnet mount on the bike frame so the bottle didn't feel loose. New Update: I junked all my Elite style bottles. The bottles have a defect in that they all start to leak where the indent is in the bottle after a while. The ones from China, with the magnets, are no better and also start leaking around where the magnet is located. I am now using Profile Aero bottles. They stay in place very well. The only issue is they have a wider body and therefore are not exactly aerodynamic on a narrow frame aero bike. I used some 2-inch wide tape to cover the gap on the holder. The Profile bottle also has a deep indent in the bottle, which may start leaking eventually.
