Putrid Avatar Caelid - Level 70 Perfect Rotless Fight | ZERO Rot Damage | 3:24 Clear I fought the Putrid Avatar in Caelid and pulled off what might be my cleanest boss kill yet: ZERO rot buildup. ZERO rot damage. Perfect rotless 3:24 clear. Most players struggle with this boss specifically because of the constant scarlet rot attacks. The rot jump slam, the rot mist explosions, the lingering rot pools—avoiding ALL of it requires perfect positioning and timing. One mistake and you're spending the rest of the fight chugging Preserving Boluses while your HP drains. But not this time. Not once did the rot status bar even appear. The Strategy - How to Achieve a Rotless Kill: Stay aggressive but controlled - Close range baits hammer swings (no rot), distance triggers Holy Arrow spam in 2nd phase. Dodge the rot jump slam EARLY - Don't wait for the impact, run when you see the jump animation start. Circle strafe during 1st rot mist attack - The mist has a slight delay, use it to reposition Never panic roll - Every strafe and dodge needs purpose; random rolling gets you caught in rot pools End the fight quickly - The longer it goes, the more rot opportunities. Aggression = safety If it proves too much, there is always fire grease, to making greataxe builds easier. But even with type advantage, achieving a perfect rotless kill requires discipline and pattern recognition. Challenge Parameters: Level 70 character (Recommended: 60-70) 40 STR stat distribution Greataxe build +12 (optimmal for Caelid) ZERO rot buildup or damage taken throughout entire fight (Perfect Rotless) Clear time: 3:25 (18-second run-up excluded) This will be Part 1 of Caelid Boss Rush: Putrid Avatar → Rot Dragon → Godskin Apostle → Radahn This is part one of my personal challenge: beat Putrid Avatar, the Rot Dragon, the Godskin Apostle and Radahn all at level 70 without leveling between them.
