We are coming up on 1 year since this little heat vessel landed at Kaizen! This sauna is under paid over worked 6 days a week! This is the perfect high milage stress test and we are so proud to see it in this shape! Western Red Cedar is by far the best species to build saunas with! Hemlock or Pine would 100% be cracked, warped and moldy. Sometimes it runs all day. Sometimes it gets left in the rain. Sometimes it sits in the sun. Sometimes snow. This thing shows up 100% of the time for everyone at this gym! The beauty is, you can take some organic soap and water, clean the entire thing and re apply MCT oil year after year. Or if you want it brand new again, give it some light sanding. If you buy/ or build a sauna, do yourself a favor.
