If you have almond-shaped eyes as I do, creating a winged liner can help make them stand out even more as it emphasises the eyes and frames the shape. In this video, you will learn two techniques for creating the perfect winged liner for almond-shaped eyes. Tools you will need : Gel, liquid, or pencil eyeshadow Angled or pointed brush (optional) Concealer Flat eyeshadow brush Mascara Technique #1: Long-Winged Liner for Almond-Shaped Eyes Tip: Always start with a thin line if you aren’t sure of what look you want to go for. You always can thicken it out later. Start creating a line along your upper lash line. Depending on your preference, this line can be thin or thick. To create long-winged liners for your almond-shaped eyes, you just need to follow the right angle to make it look pretty. But how do you figure out the right angle? Follow your lower waterline and use the end of your brow tail to help you get the right angle. Then, start creating the wing and extend it at least until it goes over the crease, and make sure you can see the tip of the wing coming out from the crease. If you got that, then decide how long you want the wing to be—it’s up to you! If it looks pretty and you like it, you are good to go. There is no right or wrong! Optional: If needed, take a bit of concealer and a flat eyeshadow brush to clean up any errors or to create a sharper wing. Technique #2: Short-Winged Liner for Almond-Shaped Eyes First, start creating a line along your upper lash line. Depending on your preference, this line can be thin or thick. To create a short wing for your almond-shaped eye, you just need to flick out the line a tiny bit so that the tip of the wing is still visible with your eyes open. This will already be such a pretty look! Optional: If needed, take a bit of concealer and a flat eyeshadow brush to clean up any errors or to create a sharper wing. Add a bit of mascara, and you’re done! I am not affiliated with or sponsored by any makeup company; all content for my makeup videos is created independently.
