Most people know that self-denial is a key part of the Message Jesus delivered. In fact, Jesus drew a line in the sand and said that anyone who wanted to be one of His followers must deny himself or herself on a daily basis (Lk.9:23). Knowing that should cause you to ask some questions. Does denying myself mean I’m supposed to live my life as a doormat, letting people walk all over me? Does denying myself mean that setting boundaries is a selfish thing? Does it mean enduring abuse? This is an enormous problem for some of the most devoted, well-meaning Christians alive today. Please don’t miss out on what could be a life-changing message for many.
