Clash Royale's pro tips segment continues on CWA! Today we'll have YouTuber Pollux Light on the channel as a first-time pro. He'll share his new version of Zap / Log Bait fit to counter the current meta. This deck, which can be used on ladder and challenges, features the Miner along with the deadly combo of Executioner and Tornado to give the archetype a more robust defensive feel. Miner very important so not really. Princess can be replaced by arrows/fireball/fire spirits but she's the best in this role. 2. First barrel always in the tile that can't be tornadoed unless you're sure the opponent doesn't have it. When you're sure there's no counter to barrel in hand, throw barrel. If they have log in hand, throw a juke barrel with miner to tank. You can combo any card with miner. For example, throw barrel and he logs then combo miner+gang. Only chip with miner when there's really NOTHING to do. Only chip with princess if there's less than 1000 hp on tower and that only in the last minute. If you're sure he has no counter to minion horde in hand, combo miner+horde. 3. For défense: exec and tornado. Try to activate king tower with tornado. Princess always opposite lane if need. Never over commit. Always pressure the other lane with max 6 elixir unless you're on a too big disadvantage of elixir. 4. All the 3 minutes you play about the same. Just one thing: if there's like 1000hp or less on opponents tower, concentrate more on défense and just slowly ship with juke barrels, miners or princesses at the bridge. Do not over commit on a push if you don't need to. 5. Best opening play would be princess or barrel(anti-tornado tile). Actually any 3 or less elixir card would be ok. If your opponent puts pump, always try to break it with miner and combining it with gang or barrel. That's very very important. 6. VS. Graveyard: be agressive with horde on ewiz or knight or bowler to force a poison because you don't want them to combo it with graveyard. Let's say they have baby dragon, graveyard and poison on, defend baby dragon with exec, princess behind king tower and gang for graveyard in the poison but then counter push. OR, when you see them build up baby dragon or knight in the back, push other lane. To counter a counter-bowler for your barrel, throw barrel at the front and miner a lil to the back side of the tower. The bowler will target the miner. The main idea is just chip, defend, repeat or push hard if you're sure there's no counter for your push. It pretty much applies against any deck. 7. Common mistakes: play too aggressive at the beginning. You have to play slow to figure out their counters. Putting troops for nothing.
