[[Also using bits and pieces of stuff from "Harvest Moon: Animal Parade." Sorry if the mixed setting gets confusing. Please don't think about it too much. It's /generally/ Waffle Island, but with a few elements borrowed from AP.]] First of all, credit goes to PIPLUPPEANUT...    / pipluppeanut   ...for the three pieces of "screenshot"-style art near the beginning and end! (You know, the parts that are much more nicely-drawn than the rest? Yeah, those are her parts. xD) I colored them digitally, but she drew the awesome lineart. Ahhh, I never thought this would turn into a more-than-twenty-minute video (that's almost a full-length first case!!), but, because it got so huge, it was great to have some help! PiplupPeanut also initially suggested to me the general idea of a PW/HM parody -- and, actually, so did both SASAMICHAN and SHADEOFDESPAIR2468 -- so, thank you all very much! x3 It's something I've obviously been dying to do for a while; I was thrilled that people would actually ask for it. Gill = Miles Edgeworth (...Nice new brooch, Gill. Heh, someone forgot to tell him the rules of prosecutor chic.) Maya = Maya Fey (...Who else~?) Luke = Larry Butz (...If someone can think up a clever "if something smells..." parody line for Luke, SHARE~!) Mayor Hamilton = Judge (...The judge /has/ always favored the prosecution!) -Harvest Goddess = Mia Fey? (...Only sort of. If it were a real sprite parody, it would have been Anissa. Game tutorial leader + motherly/mentor attitude + long brown hair + mole on her face? Yes!!) -...Mother Tree = Ami Fey's urn? (...Haha, just a joke -- but seriously, sacred things just love to get repeatedly destroyed, don't they?) And, if you click on the sprite sheet linked above, you can see a random, hilariously bad Jake Marshall = Jamie (MM) sprite edit. o.O Since I decided to focus on ToT, I failed to include him/her in the case. (But actually, if I HAD focused the case around Magical Melody, Jamie would have taken the place of Edgeworth -- both being lovable rivals whose ruthless personalities you must "turn about.") ...Anyway, I wanted to, like, have Jamie mount the witness stand and then be asked to state his/her name, occupation, and GENDER. ... PSYCHE-LOCKS xD You know, just to continue my tradition of making a jab at Jamie's gender for every parody I make. ((...Similarly, though, if I continue to make AA-related videos, my tradition will be to make some sort of reference to the wonderfully ridiculous LADDER vs. STEPLADDER debate, heh-heh. ♪)) So... Yeah, this super-fail plot can't compare with the brilliant epicness of real AA cases... but my goal was really just replicating the PW style as much as possible, and trying to make it cute and amusing... and keeping the HMers in-character while still giving them traits of their PW match-ups. I just hope I succeeded on at least SOME level... ^^; ...Also, I had wanted this to be accessible to people with only a passing understanding of either game, but I guess I ended up using some possibly obscure references... particularly, the frighteningly fitting HM one at the end(?)ing.
