I got my hands on this ram 1500 and it comes with the upgraded Off-Road Package and I wanted to talk about it and weather or not its worth getting it! The first and best thing about this ram off road package is that it comes with a fully locking rear differential. the fourth gen ram 1500 came with open differentials and could be optioned with a limited slip diff but there was no fully locking diff option. which is why love that you get a fully locking diff. this is a massive upgrade for off-road use and will great help off road performance. The second thing I like is the 1 inch suspension lift with this packag is a really nice touch. gives more ground clearance but also gives the truck a nice stance. This off-road package also comes with full off road shocks. skid plates and tow hooks. as well as a very nice tire upgrade. you get a nice set of all-terrain wildpeak tires with a full size spare. overall this off road package is well worth the cost and would be the first upgrade I put on any Ram 1500 I was going to build.
