4-Day trekking across the Schesaplana with the Mannheimer Hut and Lake Lünersee in Vorarlberg

Our 4-day hut tour in Vorarlberg begins with the ascent to the Mannheimer Hut, which represents a 1,600-meter ascent in one go. On the second day, we continue hiking to the popular Schesaplana summit, which offers magnificent panoramic views. The descent from the summit takes us past the Totalp Hut and across Lake Lünersee to the Heinrich-Hüter Hut. On the third day, our hike continues over the Zimbajoch Pass to the Sarotla Hut. On the fourth and final day of hiking, our hut tour ends with the descent to Brand. Requirements: exposed areas with rope protection, sure-footedness required. Note: this is an alpine tour. Rapid changes in the weather must be expected. Sturdy mountain boots, as well as rain and sun protection should of course be worn. Light crampons are recommended. Tour walked at 06. – 09.
