I made this edit and mix of some of my favorite Biz Markie Songs late last night. . This mix is approx 60 min running time. I sampled some rare video interview footage/ audio and blended some parts with voiceover interludes of Biz's friends talking about his chararcter and the man himself over instrumentals and what I would consider the classics. The mix starts after the short edit at the beginning. REST IN PEACE to The Diabolical Biz. . I was talking with my friend MADSTEEZ who made a portrait painting for Biz Markie when he was alive and Mark told me when he was passing the painting off to Biz he pulled up in a convertible BMW and tied to put the giant painting he made inside the car but it wouldn't fit. . To those younger hip hop kids who don't know the music of Biz Markie. It's ok if you don't know. But take some time to listen and educate yourself in this man's music that helped create the genre you reside in. . Biz gave us heartfelt melodies, vulnerability, true originality, musical human beatbox wizardry, the wild style comedy rap with no apology and as my brother The Grouch said "Thank You inspiring us to be creative, conscious, humorous and original.
