Van life couple Courts and Meeks park their self converted sprinter van in the middle of Cappadocia balloon rides. The full time van lifers experience hundreds of hot air balloons taking off at sunrise at Goreme Cappadocia. They also experience a sunset yoga session in the hills and a guided cycle tour of the area, finishing with fresh juice. Cappadocia Turkey is a place we've wanted to drive our full time home on wheels to ever since we planned the Turkey trip! To be here and experiencing this incredible spectacle feels genuinely like a dream come true (yes that is a wanky term but I hope you'll allow us the indulgence). We spend a whole 6 days in this wonderful landscape, waking up at 4:30AM to experience the sunrise show of hundreds of hot air balloons taking off and floating above the natural wonder. We also get to try out a couple of different experience to the usual quad bikes, horse rides and photoshoots as we go for a sun set yoga experience in Red Valley, a truly magical experience. Then we get a guided mountain bike tour of all the valleys we hadn't yet seen, topping off a truly memorable week for us both! Our instructor Niyazi was an absolute pleasure I think you'll agree! He couldn't have been more accommodating, changing the date of the sunset yoga to a less cloudy day, looking after our safety and bringing us gifts to welcome us to Turkey! We would 100% recommend his experiences, they are less commercial, more personal and totally tailored to you - unlike the 30+ groups for quad biking!
