Just as to a painter, the brush holds the key to a world undiscovered, to a writer, the pen holds the truth to questions that are yet to have been answered. People interpret different things in different ways, to the point that expressions which convey the same core ideas can find two completely different meanings in the minds of two different people, and both interpretations would be just as valid. Our modern culture has ushered a new age of interpretation, such that specific expressions have inspired the existence of new works of art, in the form of fan fiction, and more specifically fan art. Note: I use "small child" to describe Arthur Fleck as to describe the psychological and proverbial loss of his inner child (or his innocence) to his own psychosis.
