Hyundai introduced the fourth generation of the Santa Fe SUV in 2018, and by mid 2020 it already announced a facelift. From the front you can tell something’s different. The grille is more prominent, and clearly separated from the rest of the fascia. The headlamps are even sharper. At first glance you’d be excused for thinking this is a new generation, especially when you look inside. Hyundai claims the refreshed Santa Fe is on a new platform, which improves performance, handling, efficiency, as well as safety. There are also new hybrid powertrains, including a plug-in hybrid. In simple terms: we now get the same 2.2 liter diesel, and 1.6 petrol hybrids, like in the new KIA Sorento.
