Ride onboard and trackside for a humbling experience at the iconic Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola) in the Audi R8 LMS GT4. This video features raw cockpit footage and cinematic track replays. No commentary, no music—just the V10 engine notes and the sound of me fighting to keep the car on the track in Automobilista 2. Today was a massive reality check. Imola is a track I’ve never learned, and it showed. Between the high-speed sections and the incredibly unforgiving curbs, I spent more time fighting for survival than fighting for positions. After several mistakes, I found myself at the very back of the pack. Instead of quitting, I used my time alone at the tail end to treat the race as a live practice session. I spent the remaining laps studying the flow of the track without upsetting the car. I finished last, but I left the track with a much better understanding of this historic circuit. I’m currently focused on curb management and finding the right entry angles to avoid the "bounce" that ruins a lap. Imola beat me today, but the data I gathered is the first step toward coming back faster. I hope you enjoy the ride—mistakes and all.
