Probably the best cymbal modification we did so far! This cymbal used to be a semi heavy weight 22" (about 3000gr) Zildjian Avedis Ride. We did some serious amount of hammering with a couple mild clusters as well and relating of both the top and the bottom side of the cymbal. The result is a 2420 gram semi dry complex ride that has a little bit of a waxy touch and sound to it in the good sense of the word! Due to this waxy dry sound the cymbal has a clear stick definition and an amazing crash that isn't too wild. The bell is still strong and clear without being out of balance to the rest of the cymbal sound and dynamics. In short: very good jazz ride! And that wobble is just beautiful!
