As the final act before the night session, Wingwalker Sam G and Pilot Mike took to the skies in their roaring Grumman Airshow-Cat (N4063K) during a "peak awesome" golden hour. This wasn't just a display of bravery; it was a masterclass in Crew Resource Management. The team utilized colored smoke canisters on the wingtips to paint the glowing orange sky as Sam performed two high-altitude wingwalking runs. The Ultimate STEM Duo: When they aren't performing "trust walks" on top of a biplane, this team is pushing the boundaries of space and aviation: Sam G: A satellite collision avoidance engineer who supports science missions in space. She has been honing her wingwalking craft across North America since 2014. Mike: A professional airline pilot and mechanical engineer.
