I remember hearing my last lemonade on some music television show, and being totally blown away. Could it be? My two loves of music at the time, melodic death metal, and Hardcore, fused together with that Metal edge. The term Metalcore was born, and the rest is history. Alive or Just Breathing was a huge deal or me. Especially when the scene was starting to become stale. It opened the flood gates to a whole new sound, which every band then tried to emulate. No Killswitch weren't the first to create the sound, but probably the biggest band with the most ears listening to them at the time, if not still? I can't believe it's been 20 years since it's release. We used to play this album pretty much back to back at band practice. So many good memories listening to this. Thanks Killswitch.
