Filmed from the sand dunes on Shell Island campsite during the summer of 2004. The video shows the pilot less drone, nick named 'Jindivik' being followed closely by the shepard aircraft after another sortie. The shepard aircraft peels off at the last minute while the Jindivik, having no undercarriage lands on its skid. The purpose of the drone is to fly over the sea in an exclusion zone and tow a target which RAF fighters then fire live missiles at, the idea being to hit the target although on the odd occasion the missile locks onto the Jindivik instead and blows it out of the sky, hence they are pilot less ! All this is just a memory now as the airfield was closed some years ago. shame.
