Featuring Jeff Champion (@Champ1964) and Nick Champion from Champ’s Clock Shop :) https://linktr.ee/champsclock/ More videos with the Champions at their shop: • Videos at Champ's Clock Shop in Douglasvil... This was such an amazing experience! It was a very full circle moment for me because Champ’s Clock Shop and the Champions themselves have been a huge influence and inspiration of mine for many years with everything they do…I am very lucky and grateful. I don’t normally allow people to come and tour my collection, but of course I had to make a special exception for these guys. This was recorded back in July, I’ve just been so busy that I hadn’t gotten a chance to sit down and go through the footage. I was originally going to upload the full uncut video (an hour and a half long), but I ended up having to cut a few things out…it would’ve probably been boring otherwise, anyway. The edited version still has all of the best moments :) During their visit, I showed the Champions some of my favorite pieces in my collection, and they picked out some favorites of their own. It’s rare to show Jeff Champion something that he’s never seen, and I think both he and Nick were excited to see a lot of my Japanese models. We discussed different Rhythm clocks and their history, looked at a few of my non-Rhythm clocks, and realized that I am horrible at keeping up with dusting my collection. Something that was mentioned a few times in the video is Alpine Alpa and the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock in Sugarcreek, Ohio. If you don’t know what Alpine Alpa is, it is where the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock in Sugarcreek was originally from. It used to be a very large tourist attraction until its unfortunate closure in the late 2000s. In their gift shop, they started carrying Rhythm clocks a short time after my family and I started going there because of my growing interest in clocks. They were the first Rhythm clock dealer that I had ever been to…I still have every single Rhythm clock that I got from Alpine Alpa. But, funny enough, they wouldn’t have started carrying Rhythm clocks had it not been for Jeff Champion from Champ’s. Had he not convinced them to carry Rhythm clocks, my collection and this channel may not even exist. It’s a really weird coincidence that we never knew about until a few years ago, and that just makes this whole experience that much more special. I had originally planned on filming more during their visit and making a separate video of some of the other things that we got to do, but I used up most of my phone storage on this video…oops. Nonetheless, thanks so much once again to the Champions for everything, you guys are my family forever, and thank you all so much for watching :) I hope you enjoy!
