"DS" stands for disconnected shot (not a Nintendo DS like many would think lol) which is the name of the glitch that lets me pull off those shots on hole 5 and 6. It's a very new glitch, it was only found about 3 weeks ago and it took over 14 years to find. This glitch makes golf really broken especially for speedruns of the game. I decided to try it out as it peaked my interest and this is my first time grinding golf speedruns in the game as a result. It is really fun and I want to be more involved in the game and do more Wii sports speedruns. This glitch and the people I've been talking to in the community has helped revive my love for wii sports.
