We installed our Broan AI ERV systems ourselves. Given another chance would we do it ourselves again? An ERV helps bring fresh air into your home while recovering energy from the outgoing stale air, ensuring better ventilation and comfort throughout the year. This make our home feel fresher and helps keep our family healthy. Because we built our home ourselves, we were very intentional about what kinds of things we spent our money on. We purposefully spent extra funds on things like our insulation and foundation, and not on things that would just be superficial. With those values, we decided to purchase this ERV. We have no experience doing ductwork or any HVAC work. This was our first project. How DIY friendly was it? Was there anything we would have done differently? Watch to find out!
