After what feels like a very long time, I'm finally done with my collection of heavy rock/metal centric projects. My style of music is a combination of the niche stuff that I enjoyed about my favourite genres. But since I'm currently making alternative metal/rock stuff, I'm incorporating all that I love about the genre into these tracks. This isn't traditional or classic rock/metal tracks. But that's my favourite type of rock/heavy metal, so I tried to add a little bit of that here. It took me about 7-10 hrs sessions to create each track, and I'm 80% happy with how almost all of the tracks turned out. Sunset Paradise, Deceleration, and Internal Echoes are my new personal best. And I'm looking forward to some of the exciting ideas I've had for many years now. I'll be making one more metal/rock collection, and then I'll move to synth way/synth rock (I'm really excited). I make low-grade, low-budget music. So, if you find this mildly interesting or enjoyable. I appreciate that. Anyways, enjoy. By the way, what I usually do is: 1. Think of a melody, then record that melody and the percussions/Fx and stuff with my voice on my phone 2. Open up my notes and jot down what instruments or types of bass/drums/hhats and the expected volumes/or modulations that they'll be set to. (One in a while) 3. Write down the sequence in which the song will play and divide the song into sections, making sure that each section has a certain number of bars 4. Then, I start my timer and start making the song/track/beat. I'll also occasionally write down the lyrics for the chorus or hook. So I typically have the entire songs from start to finish in my head, then I record all that on my phone with my voice so I know how it'll sound like from start to finish and after that I start a session and make notes while making the beat/track/song. That's the process I use, and i find it very productive. Sometimes, I start up a session and just freestyle and make a track/song. But I usually follow this method above. @DMC1234MGS5 on X. #alternativerock #alternativemetal #heavymetal #musicproduction
