0:00 - TM AKM Rate of Fire 0:36 - TM M4 Rate of Fire 1:03 - Results Comparing the TM AKM vs TM M4 GBBR. The AKM got a rate of fire of 11 rounds per second for the first two full auto mag dumps. Due to the cool down of the mags the subsequent result was 10 rounds per second and the last result was 8.5 rounds per second and that was until empty. For the first TM M4 mag the first rate of fire was 15.5 rounds per second and the second result was 14.5 rounds per second until an empty mag. For the second TM M4 mag there rate of fire was a tad slower at 15.25 rounds per second and finishing off the mag with 15 rounds per second. The real rate of fire for an AKM is 600 rounds per minute which is 10 rounds per second. For the M4 it is 700-950 rounds per minute which is 11.66 rounds per second or 15.83 rounds per second. Surprisingly, the GBBRs simulate similar rates of fire to their real steel counterparts because the AKM had about an average of 10rounds per second or 600 rounds per minute. In contrast, the M4 had an average rate of fire of about 15 rounds per second or 900 rounds per minute. Both of the GBBRs fall in the realistic rate of fire.
