What Severne Wave sail fits best for which type of riding? Both the Severne Blade & S-1 have been in the range from Severne from the very start of the brand now more than 20 years ago. It has always been a hot topic on which of the 2 sails is the best & which type of sailor fits best with which model. I had the chance to try both the S-1 4.8 & the Blade 4.7 back to back in Cabezo. And although conditions where not ideal I got a pretty good feel for both sails to help you get a better idea of the differences between both. I start off by looking at the sails at land, checking the specs before I take them to the water for a 15 - 20 min run on each to give you a first impression feedback.
