In this special throwback, I sat down with BBC Breakfast a few years ago to discuss one of the most emotional moments in UK theme park history — the closure of The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley. Once Europe’s longest roller coaster and a true Yorkshire icon, The Ultimate thrilled generations of visitors… but its story has now come to an end, and its legacy will live forever.
