Peter Hoagland, the Northeast Regional Technical Service Provider (TSP) Coordinator for USDA's -Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) speaks with foresters and other natural resources professionals about the Technical Service Provider (TSP) Program. TSPs work on behalf of private landowners and land-managers to offer conservation planning and project implementation support services that meet the criteria of USDA NRCS programs. They are certified by NRCS through a formal training process to develop planning and practice design documents, such as Forest Management Plans, to help eligible customers assess the current condition of their lands and to recommend conservation practices that meet NRCS standards and specifications.
