Anejari butterfly camp comes under Udupi, more previously Mookambika wildlife sanctuary. If you visit during monsoon around July August September you will see adequate quantity of butterfly in this camp but bird watching in that season is not a good choice. So plan as per your choice. As soon as we enter into the campus, I have got hypnotised by the smell of the soil and lush greenery. The way JLR decorates the accommodations along with nature it is highly remarkable. The first thought I had after entering into the campus is how can someone spend only one day here. So Anejhari butterfly camp has a feature, that is, nature walk in the morning with naturalist. It is a total 8 km walk inside the forest. So guys this walk is not mandatory. You can simply be on the campus and roam around but if you be a part of the walk you will feel the actual beauty of the forest. In the morning you will only hear different kind of twitters around you. Sometimes some loud call of Langurs. Grey jungle foul passing by and what not. You will be rejoiced to walk through the red soil inside the lush green forest of Mookambika. If you want to book this property you can visit the JLR website and search for Anejhari butterfly camp. I would strongly recommend any nature lover to visit here and spend 2 days. One day you can also visit Kollur Mookambika temple which is only 5 km away from the property. Bird hide gets active after 4:30 pm Morning hide session is a bit dry. But getting birds while nature walk is worthy.
