CORE MD Videos Improving methods for the clinical investigation and evalua

The CORE-MD project stands for Coordinating Research and Evidence for Medical Devices in Europe. It gathers medical associations, academic institutions, regulators, notified bodies, health technology assessment, patient associations as well as industry representatives to look objectively at clinical evidence standards for medical devices and recommend to the Regulators how these should be evaluated in Europe in the future. Alan Fraser, Tom Melvin and Elin Karlberg explains the rationale underpinning the project as well as its challenges and expectations with regard to the implementation of the Medical Device Regulation.
