In this session, Dr. Emily Zimmerman explores key principles and strategies for building and maintaining trust with community partners and collaborators. Learning Outcomes: ✅ Understand the principles guiding engagement with community organizations and members. ✅ Learn key considerations in building effective and lasting partnerships. ✅ Explore strategies to foster trust and meaningful collaboration. About the Speaker: Dr. Emily Zimmerman is the Director of Community-Engaged Research and Qualitative Research at the VCU Center on Society and Health. She co-leads the community engagement team at the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research and is dedicated to health equity and integrating patient and community voices into research partnerships. Dr. Zimmerman is known for developing the SEED Method for Stakeholder Engagement in Question Development and co-authoring Researching Health Together: Engaging Patients and Stakeholders, from Topic Identification to Policy Change.
