📦 In this video, we break down how to manage inventory reconciliations in SKUSavvy—essential for situations where you’ve fulfilled an order outside of the platform or there's a mismatch between your Shopify stock and what’s shown in SKUSavvy. You’ll learn how reconciliations are automatically triggered, how to manually resolve them, and how to keep your inventory perfectly aligned across systems. --- 🔍 What You'll Learn: 📉 What Triggers a Reconciliation When you fulfill an order outside of SKUSavvy or Shopify stock levels drop below what’s recorded in SKUSavvy, a reconciliation record is created to adjust the difference. ⚙️ How Reconciliations Work Automatically SKUSavvy uses a smart set of conditions to decide whether a reconciliation can be made without manual intervention: 🔢 Exact quantity ID match (highest priority) 🔐 Serial number match for uniquely tracked items 📦 Only one quantity exists in the warehouse for that variant 📤 Unallocated quantity is available (no bin assigned) 📍 All quantities for that variant are stored in the same bin 🚫 When Automatic Reconciliation Fails If quantities are stored across multiple bins, SKUSavvy will not auto-reconcile to preserve location-level accuracy. A manual adjustment will be required. --- 📍 How to Find and Perform Reconciliations: 🔎 Go to the inventory table and sort by bin (descending) — reconciliations appear at the top 🧾 Click into a specific inventory item to view all reconciliation records 📱 Scan an item and tap "Make Adjustment" to access its reconciliation 📋 Use the flat list view and tap the icon with an up arrow inside two stacked boxes to view all reconciliations in one place 🛠️ To resolve a reconciliation: Tap "Reconciliation Needed," choose the correct bin, and SKUSavvy will deduct the quantity from that bin and settle the record. 🚚 How External Fulfillments Work: 📦 You can pick and pack orders directly inside SKUSavvy using your warehouse flow. Once the order is marked packed, it can be fulfilled in Shopify, and SKUSavvy will still align the inventory using internal tracking. 🛒 Alternatively, if you choose to fulfill the order directly in Shopify, SKUSavvy detects the fulfillment and automatically generates a reconciliation record.
