Dr. Johnson shares her lifelong dedication to child advocacy and the vital role of child advocacy centers in providing safe, developmentally appropriate environments for children undergoing investigations. She highlights the severe shortage of pediatric forensic nursing services in the state and the need for local access to timely medical exams for young victims. Parcel responds to the call to action, describing how WVU Tech nursing faculty and students are stepping in to support this critical need.
