In 2007 one of Kylie's customers contacted her and told her that on her recent trip to the US she had discovered Gluten-Free Oats and wondered whether she could investigate getting some into Australia. Kylie reached out to a family of Coeliac's and discovered that they had pioneered the project to show the world that oats in their natural state were in fact gluten free. 2007 saw the US certify these pure steamed rolled oats gluten free oats and the UK, Canada and parts of Europe followed with certifications in those areas. Customers were very quick to take up this new product as oats provided improved nutritional content and wholefood options for breakfasts and snacks that are currently loaded with GMO corn, soy and refined sugar. In 2009 Kylie imported her first pallet from the farmers in Wyoming, GF Harvest and has continued to import their premium steamed rolled oats, soon introducing Certified Organic, Steel Cut, Flour and Quick Oats over the next 12 years. In 2021 Kylie launched the first Aussie GF Oats now ensuring that GF Oats Australia are the largest suppliers of gluten free oats in the Southern Hemisphere.
