All Mortal Flesh

The traditional advent hymn "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" (also known by the tune name "Picardy") has long been a favorite of mine for its dark beauty and harmonic richness. I began writing this piece in December of 2019, but finished it a few months late for Christmas :) My arrangement starts with a reflective, dark first verse, weaves through a tight, classical string section, and ends with a full, powerful third verse.
