Rainer "Charly" Beutin turns 70 today ... - and in his honor one of the most famous songs of his Charly Schreckschuß Band – this is the original from the first LP "Every day I have the blues" - released in 1981. And this is my story to that song: It must have been winter 1981/82 that the Charly Schreckschuß Band was playing a gig at Hannover´s top live club of that time, the Leine Domizil on Karmarschstraße. I went there with a good friend of mine – the only blues “fan” I knew besides me. This concert was very poorly attended - I remember between just a dozen or almost 20 people - because some football game was being broadcast on television at the same time. The band played their full program and Mr. Beutin dedicated every song to someone present - and late that night I was given the “receding hairline” (Geheimratsecken) Blues - about that I wasn´t very amused … but it was true – for the both of us!! PS I: For more - and most importantly, up-to-date - information have a look at: https://www.charlybeutin.de/ PS II: Bodo Kremmin took the portrait photo. PS III: The “Geheimratsecken Blues” has been recorded in a new version on the 2001 album "Yeah" – if you want to listen: • Geheimratsecken-Blues
