The footage you're seeing right now is using TrackIR on my Meta Quest 3 using OpenTrack WXR. In order to get Project Wingman to work on Meta Quest, you have to install the Wine Mono Installer and the Wine Gecko Installer, and then you have to install these runtimes on the game's container. I have the following container settings on screen to get this to work. I'm currently using the Box64 configuration to run this game. The best way to get the game to run on WinlatorXR is to buy Project Wingman on GOG, since the GOG version is DRM-Free (No DRM whatsoever). This uses the new OpenTrack WXR, a fork of OpenTrack, which allows TrackIR emulation on standalone VR headsets such as the Meta Quest and PICO. With it, it gives you 6DoF head tracking, which is very useful for racing games and flight simulators. Now mind you, while it's on a VR device (Meta Quest 3/3S, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest Pro), it's still using a flat panel display. But it is still a step above from 3DoF. So far, we're getting pretty good progress to get PC games on VR standalone. In order to run Project Wingman on WinlatorXR, the game must be set on very low settings in order to get a playable framerate. Because the Meta Quest itself is just not powerful enough to run the game at medium or high settings. Like I said, I'm using Box64 to translate the game from x64 to Arm get the game running on Arm hardware. I haven't tried using the FEX core, but that will be tested later.
