Ridetech's first ever MOMENTUM Chassis Series is finally here and we've got all the details. 30 years of air and coil-over suspension systems development have culminated into the MOMENTUM series chassis. Developed for those looking for something beyond our complete suspension systems for OE frames, the MOMENTUM chassis provides that clean slate platform for your GM A-Body build or restoration. It is compatible with most 1968-1972 second generation A-Body two door coupes (Chevelle, Skylark, GSX, Olds 4-4-2). At this time we do not support convertibles, El Caminos, or wagons). Like the suspension systems we've built over the last 30 years, we've spent our time improving the suspension geometry of the GM A-body, yielding huge gains when it comes to both comfortable cruising or conquering the autocross or track day. But the primary advantage MOMENTUM beyond upgrades to the OE frame is that with an Ridetech designed chassis, we have the ability to select desired suspension pickup points, giving our Ridetech engineering team complete control over lower control arm mounting locations and providing further freedom in improving over the factory chassis. We were also able to incorporate several other key benefits that add modern handling and performance over the factory frame, including rack and pinion steering, wider wheel and tire clearance which comes in handy for fitment of a wider variety of wheel and tire combinations which will allow you to utilize the MOMENTUM chassis for whatever use case you are building out your A-Body for.
