Week 5 of 50 - Linen Stitch

Welcome back to Week 5 of the Granny STITCHES Card Deck series! All year I will be bringing you one video a week from the Stitches card deck. This is full of all sorts of stitch patterns from the simple single crochet to the alpine stitch, the larksfoot stitch, some tapestry crochet and much more. This week we are looking at the Linen Stitch (also commonly called the Moss Stitch) which is a combination of single crochets and chains. This square is worked in multiple colours but as I show you in the video, it looks great in a single colour too. I will be using Cascade Anthem yarn for this (as I did with the Floral Granny Square series from 2025). I've curated a Spring palette of fresh greens, cool blues, and warm corals and pinks.
