Woo World Record! Double movement speed items + Haste = POG New strat is now for sure having high Charm resulting in stupid high level summons for faster bosses. The summons jump in categories for Charm scaling, either +1 level per 1, 2, or 4 charm stat. Shrikes are the last summon in the list that have a +1/2, making it the highest value summon in the game per charm. Wyverns regardless of being higher Magic, attack, and having a poison status. End up in underleveled due to the charm needing to be higher to perform in the Kaos fight, and Fire Drakes do Fire damage which Kaos has 50%+ resistance to. Another factor being that Shrikes deal Slashing damage, Kaos and the Scorpfeline are very likely to have high slashing resistance, being a hinder to the run. Also having at least +10 Defense magic points so you don't have to cast Haste every 10 seconds. Leveling is not that necessary, Floating minds are OP af in this game, they give stupid high amounts of EXP, but as it seems it's not necessary to level that much. You gain a lot of experience from the 2 main quests, killing the Elites/Heroic presences, and the bosses themselves, getting at least 3 levels minimum. Killing bosses always awards Fame, so do quests, resulting in leveling Fame 4 times across the run for doing main quests only. The total points for just doing main course stands: 15-20 Stat Points 22-24 Skill Points Now, at the start of the game, killing 3 Floating minds results in 2 level ups. The player needs to kill at least 9 floating minds to reach level 5-7 Total result of points results in: 35-55 Stat points 30-38 Skill points Adding everything to Magic the magic Stat should be around 45 to 65 if played optimally, meaning the player doesn't need that much +Magic from items, and instead should focus on (Higher on list means higher priority): +Fire/Ice/Electric Damage (weapon exclusive stat) +Movement Speed (most likely found on boots and jewelry) +Charm Skill +Defense Skill +Casting Speed This game is very different to FATE, route and build wise, tho similar in the core. If played optimally 90% of the runs can be actual useful runs and not stuck in fishing like the original game.
