In this social experiment, I decided to spend 24 hours eating only rejected food: food that restaurants were about to throw away because it was close to its expiration date or simply no longer on the next day's menu. ⚠ It's not garbage food or expired food. It's food that's still good, but if no one buys it, it ends up in a trash can. For a full day, I ate only these products: breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner, all for a fraction of the original price thanks to restaurants that prefer to give away or auction off food rather than throw it away. In this documentary-style vlog, I show you how I organized my day, what I was able to get, how much I spent, and, most importantly, what it's like to live with what the food system no longer wants, but which clearly can still be used.
