Howdy and Welcome back to Wild West Deep Dives. This Short Dive is about a man named Bill Wilson, he was a Missouri Bushwhacker during the American Civil War. A Bushwhacker, is a confederate symphosizer who is not associated with the Confederate Army, a Jayhawker, was a Union symphosizer who is not associated with the Union army. Both sides had these guerrilla fighters that raised hell during the war. This episode was inspired by a book called; Bushwhacker, by George Clinton Arthur. I will be doing my own short of story telling, but all the information, events, quotes, etc. came from Mr. Arthurs book. Bill Wilson was also the inspiration behind the movie; Outlaw Josey Wales. Reminder; I titled this episode "The Legend" of Bill Wilson as there are not many cold hard facts that can be found on Mr. Wilson. This episode was a lot of fun to research and record as there are voice actors, sound effects, anything I could do to make it seem authentic and like you are in the moment.
