Top Ten Weirdest Sprites in Pokémon Gold & Silver

I feel it needs no introduction, but, hey, Pokémon sprites! They have to show off so much in so many pixels. We cover them every year, ran out of main series games that used them, and moved onto the 3D models. However, some of our first videos on this topic are so outdated in how we do things, we wanted to revamp a few of the ones that were a decade old or so. We did it with the original list on Red and Blue, and now we’ll do it with our second video on the topic on generation 2. With the second generation, Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions, we saw a whole new world of Pokémon and sprites to show them off, both from Johto and Kanto. So, let’s see what’s weird our first visit to Johto. These are mostly based on weird appearance quirks. Maybe they’re a backstory to it, or maybe it’s just something we want to riff on.
