The Shinko E705 tread pattern and rubber compound provide good grip in most situations. Some ridrs claim that durable rubber compound isn't great for traction on wet roads. Others disagree. How do we know for this Our Shinko 705 tyre review? There are 385 google reviews with a total of 4.5 out of 5 stars. And we checked, they are genuine reviews. What about the negative points? Some riders pointed out there was a bit more tyre noise then they expected... others noticed no difference. A few riders pointed out the Shinko 705 hard rubber compound is not good on wet roads. But commonsense should lead you to buying soft compound tyres if you ride on wet roads frequently. Surprisingly quite a few riders said the Shinko 705 off-road performance is good for an 80/20 tyre, especially if you reduce air pressure for tough tracks. What about our Shinko E705 test rider? Pete agreed with most most of these comments. The road performance was great, they were still quite reasonable on dirt roads, and behaved as a good 80/20 tyre should. He hasn't noticed any tyre noise. Pete spent a day riding in the rain and said the traction on wet roads was good. Quite a few of the Google reviews say this too. This is just a short review, we encourage you to google 'Shinko 705 reviews' and do your own research. Of course if you are cashed up and into bling, go for it. All we are saying is there's also the budget option for adventure riding. And it won't hold you back. Why? We reckon it's 80% the rider and 20% the bike. So the Cross Training Adventure focus is just get out there and have fun on two wheels. Instead of obsessing over the latest blinged out Beemer, which tyres to fit or spending a fortune on your suspension or billet alloy gas cap.
