https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfundi... With resilience, commitment and aspiration comes empowerment. Empowerment for all young people, through equal opportunities to Health, Education, Food Security and ultimately Self Sufficiency. My aim here is to raise awareness of The Young Muslim Children’s Home and Schools in Garissa, Kenya and generate support for its progressive empowerment projects, focusing on Orphan Support, Education, Emergency Relief, Food Provision and Sustainable Environmental Protection. I emphasise that this fundraiser is not a quick fix - a bag of sweets - but rather an investment in the futures of these orphans, young people and the disadvantaged within the community, which we can support. Further information and details, including how to donate are available on my JustGiving page, on The Young Muslim Association (YMA) website or follow on YMA Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts: JustGiving Page: https://justgiving.com/crowdfunding/s... Please watch, share and comment if you can, but please be forgiving as this is my first attempt at fundraising and video production, involving my iPad, a free app and my inexperience... Special thanks must go to my family and friends for their patience, encouragement, support and guidance during this ‘road trip’, spanning over 9 months. To Aidan, Áine, Farzana, Haidar, Imaan, Mukhtar, Simon and Tom - presented in alphabetical order to avoid accusations of favouritism - thank you all so much; I’m nearly there!
