In this episode of Backyard Bosses, we're diving into Maple-Glazed, Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts with Andrew from @GrillSergeant! This bacon-wrapped snack is smoky, crispy, and bite-sized, making it the perfect option for serving at your next tailgate, backyard BBQ, camping trip, or weeknight get-together! Plus the flavor combinations are truly endless - Use your favorite Pit Boss BBQ Rub to really make this recipe your own! Now let's get into it 👇 💨Ingredients: 🥓 Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts Brussels Sprouts Bacon Pit Boss Smoked Salt and Pepper Rub Pit Boss Texas BBQ Rub 🤤 Andrew's Famous Dippin' Sauce: 1/3 Cup Mayo 1/3 Cup Sour Cream 1 TSP Salt 1/2 TSP Garlic Powder Dash of Smoked Paprika Add a little Lemmon juice to taste 🔥 Pellet Smoker Setup: Setting up your Pellet Smoker for this cook is super easy! First, fill up your hopper with a high-quality pellet blend. For this recipe, we recommend using the Pit Boss Hickory Blend Pellets! Our Hickory Blend will provide just the right amount of wood-fired flavor for this quick cook. Next, select "smoke mode" and crank it up to the P7 setting. This will offer up the most smoke possible for such a quick cook. Finally, add a folded piece of foil beneath your middle rack to help keep the inside of your grill clean throughout the cook. Optional: you can remove the top rack for easier access to the middle rack throughout the cook. 👨🍳 Cooking Process: In this episode of Backyard Bosses, we'll show you exactly how to make one of our favorite bacon-wrapped appetizers. First, prep the Brussels Sprouts by cutting off the end of each Brussels Sprout! Then, carefully wrap each Brussels Sprout with a piece of bacon, securing each piece with a toothpick. Then, season on all sides with a combination of Pit Boss Smoked Salt and Pepper Rub and Pit Boss Texas BBQ Rub. Next, place your Brussels Sprouts on the middle rack of your smoker (use the upper rack if your grill doesn't have a middle rack) and follow the cooking instructions listed below! While your Brussels Sprouts are cooking, prep your dippin' sauce! Add mayo, sour cream, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and lemon juice, then mix to combine. 🔥 Smoking Time & Temperature: Smoke for 30 minutes at 225°F. After the first 30 minutes, increase the temperature to 375°F and cook for an additional 30 minutes to crisp up the bacon. Then, glaze the bacon-wrapped Brussels Sprouts with maple syrup and cook for an additional 5 minutes. 😋 Taste Test: Our favorite part of every cook..the taste test!
