Going Regional: How to Start a Second City on Your Map in Cities Skylines 2 (2023)! | UBG 4

One of the best new features in Cities Skylines 2 is the ability to make regions by purchasing tiles that are not touching one another. In this episode, we’re going to focus on just that – creating a brand new city on a portion of our map that is completely disconnecting from Twotoria, save for power and a highway connection. To make this a functional town, we’re going to need to do quite a bit – add an interchange, layout the community's roadway network, provide utilities and other city services that cannot be shared regionally, and establish boundaries to separate the services in this new community from Twotoria. We’ll also build a few farms, and attempt to strike an equilibrium between this new city and the first city in the region. And while it’ll take work and careful planning, we’ll end with a city that is primed for future development.
